The recently concluded May 2010 Local and National Election mandates the reformulation and updating of all local plans among all LGUs nationwide, particularly, the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA).
ELA is a term-based planning document that is mutually developed and agreed upon by both the executive and legislative departments of an LGU, containing therein, the major development thrusts and priorities that shall set a direction for local officials for the next three years of effective service-delivery to the constituents.
For the past two (2) terms of my administration as Local Chief Executive of this Municipality, full support and compliance to existing laws, issuances, and national directives has been consistently provided. Most significant of which is on the formulation of the aforesaid document, ensuring involvement of all stakeholders in the whole process, and appropriation of funds thereof.
Since 2010-2013 is my last term as Municipal Mayor, with the assurance of corresponding support from the legislative branch or Sangguniang Bayan, thru the enactment of the required legislative measures, along with the convergence of efforts among stakeholders, the implementation of those identified sectoral plans and programs contained in the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) for CY 2010-2013 shall be made on top priority, so as to provide to our beloved Manjuyodnons , the desired QUALITY OF LIFE that we envisioned for them.
